Terralene® LD 2509 CL is a bio-based, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) compound designed for flexible packaging and film applications. It combines renewable content with excellent clarity, sealability, and processability, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional LDPE while maintaining high performance and recyclability.
Terralene® LD 2509 CL is a translucent bio-PE compound based on renewable raw materials. Technically, this bio-based PE compound resembles a polypropylene. It combines the PE properties of very good translucency, very good flow properties and a predominantly organic content, which are not common in injection molding. Terralene® LD 2509 CL is certified for food contact.
This highly translucent, free-flowing compound is perfect for injection-molded food cans and boasts top-tier recyclability (19/20) per Interseroh.
